Code of Ethics
The NDBCE presently adopts the ethical standards of the American Counseling
Association (ACA) as its code of ethics for the practice of professional
counseling. In the near future, the Board will be instituting its
own NDBCE Code of Ethics consistent with the ACA and the National
Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC).
++ A copy of the ACA ethical standards may be obtained from the NDBCE
office.
