Shanley holds on for third consecutive state title...Rachel Roller storms back from six down to claim medalist honors

The Shanley Deacons cruised to their third straight state title with a commanding 26 stroke victory over runner up Red River. The senior dominated Deacons placed three in the top 10, led by state runner-up Paige Menze. On the individual side, Red River standout Rachel Roller shot one of the best rounds in recent state tournament history to claim the 2007 state medalist honors. Her one-under par 70 on a rainy, blustery day propelled her from six shots down to a four-stroke victory over Menze.
