Facts About NDCTM:

  • The North Dakota Council of Teachers of Mathematics is a Partner Affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
  • NDCTM was established in 1966 by 377 charter members.
  • The first annual meeting was held in Bismarck, ND.
  • There are currently about 350 members in NDCTM.
  • The NDCTM newsletter/journal is published three times per year.
  • The NDCTM Scholarship is given to an aspiring teacher of mathematics each spring. (See Awards Page)
  • The NDCTM Distinguished Member Award honors members who have made outstanding contributions to mathematics education through our organization. (See Awards Page)
