The North Dakota Journal of Speech & Theatre is a refereed scholarly journal designed to provide a forum for cross-disciplinary research in communication. Editors welcome a wide range of material that contributes to the excellence of speech and theatre education, and to scholarly knowledge of the communication discipline. Topics often, but do not necessarily, address a topic of regional interest. Considered is any material that can enhance secondary or higher education curriculum, or material that is devoted to basic research or theory of speech communication, mass communication or theatre. The published version is available once a year, publication coinciding with the September NDSTA convention in Bismarck. The journal has twice won the Central States Communication Association State Journal Award. The association's goal is to offer full-text versions of every article published in the journal. Those currently available on this site are linked by author, by date of publication and by title. Full-text copies of articles are also available at many libraries through the EBSCO Information Services academic database. Submissions
