Engineering Workshop

A workshop entitled Design for Engineering was held in Bismarck, July 8-10, 2003.  Jed Swegarden, Technology Educator from Lake Park-Audubon High School in Lake Park Minnesota was the instructor.  The workshop was attended by 9 instructors from across North Dakota.

The workshop participants had the opportunity to receive a draft copy of the the new CATTS Engineering Curriculum.  In addition, Jed provided them with two other resources filled with activities.  During the 2-1/2 days, the participants went through background materials and some of the math involved in Engineering. However, a  majority of the time was spent doing activities.
