The CATTS workshop on the latest CATTS Model Course Guide, Invention and Innovation, was held in Valley City, April 1st and 2nd at the Regional Technology Center.

Invention and Innovation is a middle level course intended for grades 7-9. This course provides students with opportunities to apply the design process in the invention or innovation of a new product, process or system. 

The workshop was lead by Jim Boe of Valley City State University. Jim works with faculty and the technology development team to develop the new Technology Education curriculum.  Jim was featured in the March 2004 Issue of The Technology Teacher as a "2004 Leader to Watch".
