Attending a workshop is the only way to receive either a PreK-8 guide book or the high school modules. Workshops are set up by the State Coordinator upon request by teachers or schools for their surrounding area. A workshop can be designed to meet the specific needs of your group at a school, library or camp. Evenings, after school or weekends can be arranged. There is no charge.
Four contact hours are required and a minimum of 10 participants. The cost is $10 per person for the workshop.
Fifteen contact hours are required and a minimum of 15 participants. The cost is $15 per person for the workshop. One semester hour of graduate credit is optional and available through North Dakota State University for an additional $35 fee.
To view the calendar of upcoming North Dakota Workshops and other environmental education related events, go to the National PLT Website and check out the Calendar of Events for North Dakota. The national PLT website also provides a variety of other details, The Branch newsletter, a list of state coordinators, etc.
